So who is Dames Handsome, and who are his friends?
Dames Handsome. Hero to Fairy Village and teacher to the Fairy Knights. He is older now and he spends a great deal of time teaching children to write their own stories.
Dean Hanson. A stroke victim at six. An author by nine. This kid has been through a lot and pushed through it all to make a heck of a comeback. His stories well fit the trials and tribulations of his age, yet are styled in a manner that makes them enjoyable by people of all ages.
A professor of kindergarten studies who loves to see children smile. He draws, writes, and makes music. Find him over on Youtube at Robowawa Children’s Songs.
Thomas Shuler. Not a real person, just three goblins in a trench coat busy writing stories for kids.
What are people saying about the Fairy Knights series?
Book and Beyond
“Love the flexibility”
Being a children’s book the plot has no bounds, no boundaries. Since this purely imaginative world that moulds according to their will (via magic) this makes this book a fantastic read.
All children want to be heroes, but what does it mean and what does it take? I like the underlying message that sometimes you might do wrong things with a good intention. It doesn’t mean you give up, it means you learn.
